Candle Burning Instructions:
Burn candles on a heat-proof surface away from children, pets, drafts and flammable items.  To be sure of a full "melt pool", burn your candle one hour for every inch in diameter, but do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.  If you do not burn until the melt pool is all the way across, your candle will "tunnel" down the center and you will not get an even burn.  Glass will become hot, so do not handle the candle while it is burning or while the wax is melted.  Trim the wick if it is longer than 1/2" or if the flame is large or flickering.  Stop burning candle when there is 1/2" of wax left in the container.  The best way to extinguish the wick is to use a piece of wire to dip the flame into the melted wax.  Then, use the wire to straighten the wick back up.  This will prevent smoking and will coat the wick for a better burn next time!  TIP...you can put your leftover wax from the bottom of the jar in your melter, so there is no waste!!

Wickless Candle Instructions:
Remove lid from your candle.  Place candle in or on an approved electric warming unit.  Allow an hour or two for the wax to melt completely.  The type of warmer you have will determine how long it takes to melt the wax.  When you are done with the candle, turn the warmer off and allow the wax to completely harden.  Replace lid until next use.

Wax Melter Instructions:
I only recommend electric wax melters for my melts.  Place 2 or 3 cubes from the break-apart melts, 1 or 2 bakery melts or 1 bundt cake melt in the bowl of your melter.  Within 15-20 minutes of being turned on, the wax should be totally melted and you should be able to smell the scent in the air.  My melts will usually last for 14-16 hours.  If they are not lasting this long, your melter may be getting too hot, which will burn the scent off too quickly.

Cleaning your melter:
There are two ways to do this.  One option is to turn the melter on until the wax is melted.  Once it is melted, carefully pour the wax into the trash.  DO NOT POUR IT DOWN THE DRAIN!  Use some paper towels to clean the remaining wax out of the bowl.  The other option is to turn the melter off until the wax is hardened.  Once completely cool, place the bowl in the freezer.  Freeze for 30 minutes or so.  Once frozen, the wax will pop out of the bowl.
